Triage is a useful telehealth tool for minor injuries and where there is a disruption or lack of medical facilities close by. Gallagher Bassett uses the nurse triage at claim intake to provide a clinical disposition to determine whether or not someone needs to seek medical care, or if they can avoid a claim with simple self-care guidance, reducing overall cost of risk.
